Reduce the spread of infection as we emerge from lockdown

As more businesses open and restrictions on movement are loosening, people are starting to come into increased contact with each other.

While the number of people with coronavirus is much lower, this means that anyone who does have it is more likely to come into contact with uninfected individuals.

It has also become clear that coronavirus is not a short-term problem: we will have to continue planning how to deal with it for many years to come.

Dorplan’s infection control products can help you reduce the spread of infection now and into the future by protecting your doors and other touchpoints around the building.

Doors and doorsets

Doors are the gateway to your building. If you are planning a build, we can help you build infection control into the very fabric of the door with PuraTouch+TM, an amazing solution that is applied during the manufacturing process. This product will keep working for the whole life of the door.

It’s resistant to 99.9% of bacteria. It has been tested in conjunction with coronavirus to ISO 21702:2019 (antiviral activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces). And it’s not just the door. We can treat the whole doorset, including the ironmongery.

Touchpoints everywhere

PuraProtect Antibacterial and Antiviral Spray is a coating that uses nano-science technology to kill viruses and bacteria on contact.

It can be applied to almost any hard surface, including glass, plastics, metals and varnishes. You can treat existing doorsets with it, or just the ironmongery for targeted application.

It’s completely different from disinfectant, which has a very short lifespan: PuraProtect remains effective after being cleaned up to 40,000 times (depending on the surface treated).
